What does everyone think of the title? Personally, I hated it at first, but its slowly (and I stress slowly) growing on me. I just have to keep reminding myself that we have names like "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi" which, when you think about it, sound just as corny.

I can't stand it. But then again i prefer the original three pack better anyway. I liked ep 1 but i just can't get into in as much as the originals. I must be too old for the new stuff.

Well I wasn't sure about it when I first heard the title. I mean I didn't hate it but it didn't quite sound right to me either....... dunno. I guess they're not gonna please everyone. I'm sure in years to come I'll be so used to it that I won't think anything of it, same as the other titles. I reckon The Clone Attack sounds better than Attack Of The Clones... slightly shorter.

It sounds corny and dumb, but so do all the SW titles. I imagine that when "The Empire Strikes Back" was announced as the title for Ep V, the reaction was something less than positive. It just so happens that no one minds it now because the movie is so great.
If all we have to bitch about with regards to AOTC is the title, then I think we're in good shape.

I think the two guys who are in line are kinda cute, actually. ;D
But seriously, I think they have a lot of free time on their hands. I sat in line the day before TPM opened because I had tickets for the midnight showing but that was the day before (of, really).... I think they are trying to break a record or something. 8)

LOL. I am anxious to see AOTC but I wouldn't camp out in front of theaters for it. I doubt my employer would be amused, for one thing.
I'd love to see it opening day, though. That would be great...seeing it with an audience that's virtually guaranteed to be pumped up.
I saw the midnight showing of TPM on the "Beginning" documentary. It must have been incredible to be part of that crowd--people who were getting the first look at the first SW movie in 16 years. Rick McCallum said it best: "This is f**king awesome!"

One thing I can say about loud Star Wars fans, they absolutely shut up when the 20th Century Fox logo flashes.
When I saw TPM, it was a total party in the theater. When the curtains rolled and the theater became dark, people quieted down and by the time you heard the opening notes of the Star Wars main title theme, the theater was in absolute silence.
Very cool.
If at all possible, I'm gonna do it for Episode 2, too! 8)

Seeing the first showing after waiting forever for a new movie is the greatest rush. I was in a packed house with people of all ages!! And the noise was incredible. "Did you here that this was in it, or did you know they had to do this to get this scene." Then the theater went dark, the logo for 20th century went up. Then the cheers. As soon as the scrolling words crossed the screen so to did the talking stop. in the end half the people went around to the doors and back in for a second showing. My self included. can't wait to do it again.

Yep, SW fans are the best to see a Star Wars film with. They don't talk during the film.

This from TFN:
They [some theater in Texas] said that normally they sell tickets 2 weeks in advance of opening night, but FOX is currently negotiating with George Lucas to sell advance seating through Internet outlets 1 month in advance of the release of Episode II.
